1. Ministry of Environment & Natural Resources:
The Ministry of Environment & Natural Resources facilitates the AirMAC through development of policy and legislative framework. The Ministry of Environment Natural Resources leads the policy coordination unit and the overall administration of the AirMAC.

2. Ministry of Finance & Planning:
The fiscal policy division of Ministry of Finance & Planning facilitates the fiscal policies and use of economic instruments for air resource management. They also help the AirMAC to obtain internal and external funding.

3. Ministry of Transport, Highways & Civil Aviation:
The emission control cell of the AirMAC leads by the Ministry of Transport, Highways & Civil Aviation. They also responsible for developing and implementation of policy related to automobile.

4. Central Environmental Authority:
Central Environmental Authority is the key agency for the implementation of overall air pollution control policies and measures. The CEA will lead the air quality monitoring and modeling cell of the AirMAC.

5. Ceylon Petroleum Co-operation:
Ceylon Petroleum Co-operation helps the AirMAC through improving the fuel quality and phasing out lead during the set time frame.

6. Colombo Municipal Council:
The implementation of AirMAC at the local level particularly Colombo Municipality Area will be done by the CMC. The CMC leads the Colombo city unit of the AirMAC.

7. Department of Motor Traffic:
Implementation of vehicular emission control is ether responsible of DMT.

To assist the AirMAC through effective enforcement of air quality standard set by the government.

National Building Research Organization is function as the research organization on air quality management. The AirMAC will seek the scientific advice of NBRO on the preparation of emission inventory an air quality monitoring.

10. Industrial Technological Institute:
The roll of Industrial Technological Institute is to facilitate the AirMAC through monitoring stack emissions and setting standard for industrial emission and emission inventory.

11. Meteorological Department:
The air quality management requires large number of meteorological data. The role of Meteorological Department is to provide necessary meteorological data and assist in the modeling the air quality dispersion models.

12. Automobile Engineering Training Institute:
Provides technical assistance toowards improving Air Quality through technology based development

13. Ceylon German Technical Training Institute:
Provides technical assistance toowards improving Air Quality through technology based development

14. Atomic Energy Authority:
Air quality monitoring requires extensive collection of trace gases, which require sensitive analytical technique. Atomic Energy Authority can assist in air quality research and monitoring, and emission inventory.

15. National Engineering Research and Development Agency:
Provides technical assistance towards improving Air Quality through technology based development

16. National Science Foundation:
National Science Foundation will support the air quality research cell to facilitate scientific studies on air pollution.

19. Chamber of Commerce & Industries:
Chamber of Commerce and Industries implement policy decision taken by the National Air Resources Advisory Committee in the Industrial Sector.

20. Private Bus Owners Association:
Private Bus Owners Association implement policy decision taken by the Air Resources Management Committee in the Industrial Sector.

21. Garage Owners Association:
Garage Owners Association implement policy decision taken by the Air Resources Management Committee in the Industrial Sector.
